2010 ELECTIONS
I have found very few people who are happy with their political party or those who have been filling the spots since before the last election.
Congress still seems to believe they are the power and you and I are working for them. They may be right since we keep working (those who still have jobs) to pay for all the wish lists these people can come up with.
We have an election coming up in 2010, and it is time for the voting citizens of this country to sit down and take a look at who is running. We cannot have another election like this last one. Know your candidate ahead of time. Get your butt up off the couch and get involved.
Apathy among voters has put us in an untenable position, that we have to live with for the next three years. However, if you get out and vote this time and pick people you have spent time studying and learning their politics, we should at least have a safety net, which we do not have right now, with the Democrats holding both the House and the Senate. Thank God for Blue Dog Democrats, who have held the line so far.
You must pay attention to both the state elections and federal. We must have people running our states who understand, business and the need for it, who understand state rights, and the need for it.
Voting is a privilege that so many people in the world would given their lives to have, but here we just like to complain, instead of making the change. Stand up and fight for whats left of our great country, because the far left is trying very hard to tear it down and make it something that none of us want to live in.
WHATS IT ALL ABOUT?
Politics, an eight letter word that causes more division in the world than any other except religion. We are fighting amongst ourselves now, over political views of the left and right.
The election of Barack Obama has polarized our country. Not because we finally elected a half black man to the Presidency, but because his politics are from the Progressive Democrats, or, far left.
As we wait to see the outcome of this administrations decision on Afganistan, health care, and the economy, the discourse has become beyond rude, and to the point of antagonistic.
We are already talking about the 2010 elections. What I have found that brings out the left to vote, is the government offering to give them something, and what brings the right out, is the government threatening to take something away.
So lets have some good conversation about the problems facing our country today.
Come on in, and sit awhile.
