White House AFRAID OF FOX NEWS
Through the years I have heard Presidents complain about being misquoted, unfairly portrayed, and being unjustly blamed for all that is wrong in the country.
President Richard Nixon had his enemies list, and in a memorandum found in Wikipedia, John Dean wrote to Lawrence Higby (August 16, 1971)
| “ | This memorandum addresses the matter of how we can maximize the fact of our incumbency in dealing with persons known to be active in their opposition to our Administration; stated a bit more bluntly—how we can use the available federal machinery to screw our political enemies. | ” |
How colorful and pretty much the Obama WH montra today toward Fox News.
It is difficult to understand the thinking of people who are purported to be so intelligent, and yet do such idiotic things.
When you keep telling your followers the same old story day after day, they eventually look elsewhere, just to see if the story is accurate. More and more people are turning to Fox News, just to hear something other than I I I I I I I.
If Fox News is lying, then get your people on there and give us the truth. Quit running away from those who disagree with you and answer some real questions.
Grow up people kindergarten is over, time to act like you know what you’re doing.
TOUGH QUESTIONS MR. PRESIDENT?
Mr. President why do you continue to preach to the choir instead of talking to those who oppose you? What are you afraid of that you won’t allow anyone to interview you, except for the fringe media who are your yes men and women?
You keep talking to people who have nothing to do with fighting against what you want and leaving those of us with serious questions out in the cold. I am just a 60 year old grandmother, why are you afraid of me?
The Presidents who served before you (including President Bush) always took the hard questions, why can’t you?
Confused American
Mr. President,
Please excuse my confusion, but I find myself in a quandary. We, the American taxpayer are now proud stock holders in General Motors and Chrysler. I know they have been given new names but for now let’s just call the GM and Chrysler. I am not sure how many shares of stock we own but have heard it is a considerable amount.
Th cash for clunkers program has recently ended and your administration has declared the program a total success. It is wonderful that there were sales of over 700,000 cars. Would it had not been better to sell them at a profit? Stock holders in the past would require that a profit be shown in normal business atmosphere. I understand that this is not a normal business environment but where did the money come from to balance the books for at least a break even scenario? Oh, tax payers balanced the books.
I love the idea that American auto workers remained employed and the car dealers sold many cars. The problems still exists that The Obama administration believes that the making profit is a sin and the evil capitalists should be taken out of the picture. But? Is it not the evil capitalists that create jobs that lead eventually to income taxes deducted every week and sent to Washington and spent for other programs that don’t make a profit?
I guess I am confused. Is this how the redistribution of wealth works? The government takes over major corporations and sells stuff at a loss? Sounds pretty easy. But what happens when you, Barney Frank and the U.S. Mint runs out of printing ink and can’t afford to buy any more? It’s OK to spend until you run out of some other person’s money to pay for it. Right?
